C2C develops, brokers, and sustains research-practice partnerships between more than 50 faculty affiliates working with nearly 100 external partners to implement policy solutions across the Arlington, Boston, Oakland, Portland, and Toronto campus locations. C2C provide key infrastructure to support this community-engaged work including:

  • A “no wrong door” project intake form and annual training for 20 policymakers in partnership with the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (JPAL) to enhance data analysis skills, promote the use of research evidence, and provide basic program evaluation techniques.
  • Funding, mentoring and training for 40 faculty and graduate students in partnership with Scholars Strategy Network (SSN) to provide a half-day workshop that gives scholars a hands-on introduction to effective strategies for policy engagement and building research practice partnrships.
  • A research lab of more than 20 post-doctoral, Ph.D., master’s and undergraduate students working in multi-generational teams under faculty supervision.
